Symptoms

Scenario:

The Customer, Vendor, Support, or Vulnerability Scanner software reports a list of Apache HTTP Vulnerabilities.
Apache http Server: Security vulnerabilities, CVEs This hyperlink is taking you to a website outside of Dell Technologies.

There is No impact for PowerFlex Product.

Cause

This vulnerability does not affect PowerFlex as it uses Apache Tomcat.

Resolution

Customers using PowerFlex High Availability with Apache HTTP (third-party software) are encouraged to follow security best practices, including those recommended by Apache.

We recommend that customers run the most recent version of the third-party software available and apply any security updates at the earliest opportunity.
