Instructions

Als een klant een e-mailadres nodig heeft in de CSR, moet hij de CSR maken met een tool van derden, zoals openssl. De CSR kan worden ondertekend door een CA en worden geüpload naar CloudLink.

Hier is de opdracht om de CSR te maken met openssl (elk Linux-platform).

openssl req -newkey rsa:2048 -nodes -keyout server.key -subj "/emailAddress=cloudlink@dell.com/C=US/ST=Cork/L=Cork/O=Dell Tech/OU=ISG/CN=pp-clc-node.pp.local" -out server.csr

Of op een interactieve manier:

There are quite a few fields but you can leave some blank
For some fields there will be a default value,
If you enter '.', the field will be left blank.

Locality Name (eg, city) []:Round Rock
Organization Name (eg, company) [Internet Widgits Pty Ltd]:Dell
Organizational Unit Name (eg, section) []:ISG
Common Name (e.g. server FQDN or YOUR name) []:node1
Email Address []:cloudlink@dell.com

Please enter the following 'extra' attributes
to be sent with your certificate request
A challenge password []:
An optional company name []:
