Symptoms
The following error message may display when copying images or files using Secure Copy Protocol (SCP) from the kickstart prompt.
/usr/bin/ssh: error while loading shared libraries: libaaa.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Cause
The issue is due to the inclusion of "libaaa" in kickstart and documented under the Cisco NX-OS issue CSCvx56588.
This issue applies to all Cisco MDS switches when the SCP copy is done from the kickstart prompt with NX-OS 8.5(1).
Resolution
Workaround: Use FTP or TFTP to copy files to bootflash.
Fix: This issue is addressed in NX-OS version 9.2(1).
