PowerFlex 4.x: Generating a Compliance Report fails when attempting to export it to PDF or CSV

Symptoms

Trying to generate a PDF or CSV Compliance Report from the Resources tab fails with the following Critical error:

I/O error on GET request for "https://asmmanager.powerflex.svc:9080/AsmManager/ManagedDevice/export/firmware/pdf": Read timed out; nested exception is java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out (-1)
 

Resources tab fails with the below Critical error


Asmmanager logs -  successfully fetch all the compliance-related details but encounter failures during a PDF file generation (in certain instances, it may fail to generate a CSV file):

Impact 

Unable to generate Complaint Reports in PDF or CSV format.

 

Cause

During the report generation process, there might be instances where the creation process times out while fetching details for one or more resources.

Resolution

An internal tool is available for use on the Jump host (Windows or SLES 15.x). To obtain this tool, contact Dell Support.
