Symptoms

This issue may be observed on PowerStoreOS 3.5.0.x or later. The node reboots and automatically recovers.

Cause

A software issue has been identified in the memory allocation of an anonymous virtual memory area (anon_vma) that may cause an unexpected node reboot under rare circumstances.

Resolution

The issue is fixed in PowerStoreOS 4.1.0 or later.
