Symptoms
Dell System Update （DSU） 和 Server Update Utility （SUU） 应用程序可能会仅在 Windows Server 2016 上记录崩溃并显示invcol.exe。当存在英特尔网络设备 （NIC） 时，通常会发生这种情况，例如英特尔 X520 和 I350 系列 PCI 卡，其中包括某些第 13 代和第 14 代服务器上的嵌入式 NIC。
由于崩溃，整个主机中的任何组件都不会进行资源清册以进行更新。
Cause
现在捆绑在 Inventory Collector 24.09 中的新英特尔网络 NIC 资源清册库不再与 Windows Server 2016 或更早版本完全兼容时，会发生崩溃。
Resolution
戴尔工程部门已对 Inventory Collector （IC） 模块版本 24.12 实施了部分修复，以避免因无法清点或更新任何主机组件而导致崩溃。验证主机是否已连接到互联网并可以访问 https://downloads.dell.com，然后运行 DSU 以下载较新的 IC 24.12 模块。
但是，DSU 仍然无法检测到较旧的英特尔 NIC，并且无法更新任何过时的固件版本。Intel X520 和 I350 系列 NIC 需要使用通过 iDRAC 执行的带外更新进行检查和更新。
