Symptoms

Older revision Dell S2722DC and S2722QC monitors cannot update their firmware using a computer with an ARM processor. Newer Dell S2722DC and S2722QC monitors do not need any firmware update.

Cause

The firmware for the Dell S2722DC and S2722QC monitors only supports Windows 10 and 11.

Resolution

Windows 10 and 11 Computer

To update the firmware on Dell S2722DC and S2722QC monitors (older revision, End of Life version), you must use a Windows 10 or 11 computer. No firmware update is required for currently shipping revisions of these monitors.

Note: Newer revision monitors have firmware version M3B201 and do not need a firmware update. If you have firmware version M3B102, you must install the latest version of the firmware.
