Symptoms

VxRail NIM(Node Image Management) 툴의 Windows 클라이언트 버전이 Windows 11 24H2 Insider Edition에서 아래와 같은 예외와 함께 실패합니다.

Cause

현재 버전의 NIM 툴에서는 "wmic os get osarchitecture" 명령을 사용하여 운영 체제 아키텍처를 확인합니다.
Microsoft 통신에 따르면:

Starting January 29, 2024, you'll find Windows Management Instrumentation Command line (WMIC) feature "disabled by default" on the insider build of Windows 11.

Resolution

Windows NIM 툴은 다른 Windows 호환 버전에서 사용할 수 있습니다. 
WMIC 도구는 수동으로 설치할 수 있습니다. Windows 11 이 하이퍼링크는 Dell Technologies 외부의 웹사이트로 연결됩니다.에 WMIC를 설치하는 방법(관리자 권한 필요).

VxRail NIM 툴 개발 팀은 향후 릴리스에서 WMIC 툴을 사용하지 않는 방법을 조사하고 있습니다. 이 문서는 이러한 릴리스를 사용할 수 있게 되면 업데이트됩니다.
