VxRail: De tool voor beheer van knooppuntimages mislukt met niet-ondersteunde huidige OS-versie

De Windows-clientversie van de NIM-tool (VxRail Node Image Management) mislukt met de onderstaande uitzondering op Windows 11 24H2 Insider Edition:

Huidige versies van de NIM-tool gebruiken de opdracht "wmic os get osarchitecture" om de architectuur van het besturingssysteem te bepalen.
Volgens Microsoft-communicatie:

Starting January 29, 2024, you'll find Windows Management Instrumentation Command line (WMIC) feature "disabled by default" on the insider build of Windows 11.

De Windows NIM-tool kan worden gebruikt op andere Windows-compatibele versies. 
De WMIC-tool kan handmatig worden geïnstalleerd: WMIC installeren op Windows 11(Beheerderstoestemming vereist).

Het VxRail NIM toolontwikkelingsteam onderzoekt hoe in toekomstige releases kan worden afgestapt van de WMIC tool. Het artikel wordt bijgewerkt wanneer deze releases beschikbaar zijn.
