Delete Expired Load Balancer Certificates in NSX for vIDM

Follow these steps to remove expired certificates from the NSX Manager used by VMware Identity Manager.

Identify the Expired Certificate

  1. Log in to the NSX Manager.
  2. System > Certificates.
  3. Locate the expired certificate that you want to delete.

Disassociate the Certificate

  1. Ensure the expired certificate is not associated with any active Virtual Servers (VS) or services.
  2. Networking > Load Balancing > Virtual Servers.
  3. Delete any Virtual Server that is no longer in use.
  4. For Virtual Servers still in use with an expired certificate, edit the Virtual Server configuration to remove the certificate association.

Delete the Certificate

  1. Return to System > Certificates.
  2. Select the expired certificate(s).
  3. Click the Delete option and confirm the deletion.
