Symptoms

  • NetWorker VMware Protection （NVP） 解決方案已設定為保護 Windows Server 2022 虛擬機器 （VM）。
  • 虛擬機器包含 SQL Server 2022。
  • 配置為保護 VM 的工作流已啟用「應用一致性」，旨在執行 VM 的 MSVMAPPAGENT （SQL 一致性）備份。
  • 備份工作流啟動后，不會為 SQL VM 建立備份會話。VMware 中未建立 VM 快照。
  • VM 備份工作階段記錄或 VM 上的「C：\Program Files\DPSAPPS\MSVMAPPAGENT\logs」中沒有錯誤。MSVMAPPAGENT 資料夾甚至可能無法在虛擬機器上建立。
  • 同一 VM 的標準映像備份 （不符合應用程式一致性） 會成功。

Cause
