Refresh USB enumeration.

Refresh USB enumeration by performing the following steps::

  • Connect the scanner through a USB hub or USB keyboard.
  • Download and install the UsbReg.exe utility to force a refresh of all USB devices after your system reboots.

To Download and Install UsbReg.exe 

  1. Browse to Dell Support.
  2. Click the link for Downloads.
  3. Search by the exact filename for usbreg.exe.
