Instructions

To confirm whether any nodes have a merge lock, run the following command:

isi_for_array -s sysctl efs.gmp.merge_lock_state |grep EXCLUSIVE_WAITING

 

If any nodes have the merge lock, a message similar to the following is returned:

<node identifier>: efs.gmp.merge_lock_state: EXCLUSIVE_WAITING

 
If running the sysctl efs.gmp.merge_lock_state command returns EXCLUSIVE_HELD or EXCLUSIVE_WAITING responses for more than a few seconds, contact Dell Technical Support for assistance.
