Symptoms

Er wordt een waarschuwing weergegeven in de schermafbeeldingen wanneer u probeert de Pre Upgrade healthchecks uit te voeren.

Verzamelde data verzamelt (zie KB-483583 voor Servicedata verzamelen van een Dell Unity:-array) en voert er triage op uit

The following pools do not appear to be in a healthy state:

     * P4, Database Prod Pool - This storage pool has exceeded the capacity
       threshold you specified. To allocate more storage space, add

Action : Upgrade may continue, but the recommended course of action is
     to escalate this issue through your support organization. Provide this
     output with the escalation.

Cause

Na het doorlopen van TRiiAGE_SPlogs.txt en /nas/log/check_health.160829-081403.log, zien we dat groep P4 de capaciteitsdrempelwaarde heeft overschreden.

 

Resolution

Om de situatie recht te zetten:

  1. Selecteer onder Storage de optie Pools.
  2. Selecteer de relevante groep en selecteer vervolgens het pictogram Bewerken.
  3. Verhoog op het tabblad Gebruik de meldingsdrempel tot een percentage boven de gebruikte hoeveelheid.
  4. Voer de healthchecks voorafgaand aan de upgrade opnieuw uit
Opmerking: De waarschuwingsdrempel is het percentage van de storagetoewijzing waarbij Unisphere meldingen genereert over de hoeveelheid resterende ruimte in de groep. U kunt deze waarde instellen tussen 50% en 84%.

 

Additional Information

Deze logboeken worden geplaatst in de TRiiAGE_SPlogs.txt na wijziging van de waarschuwingsdrempel van P4 Storage Pool. Er worden geen fouten waargenomen na de tweede statuscontrole, wat een indicatie is van een schone uitvoering zonder fouten of waarschuwingen.
