「Dell EMC Unity：VPlexでプロビジョニングされたUnityボリュームの「削除ステータス:サポート対象外」の問題に対処する方法(ユーザー修正可能)

これは、VAAI UNMAPプラグインの問題に関するもので、削除ステータスが「unsupported」と表示されます。

The UNMAP feature became available for Unity arrays from VPLEX 6.0 Service Pack 1. So, must confirm if the VPlex is running on the correct version code that supports UNMAP.

But, when the VPlex is running on the version that supports the UNMAP feature for Unity, the UNMAP feature reports unsupported. The use of UNMAP is limited to Thin provisioned volumes. So, need to check if the the LUNs are thin provisioned or not:

Unity の UNMAP 機能をサポートするバージョンで VPlex が実行されていない場合。お客様は、シンUNMAPをサポートするVPlexを6.0 SP 1にアップグレードします。

それ以外の場合、

VPlexを確認します:

1。VPlexにプロビジョニングされたストレージボリュームがthin対応かどうかを確認します。

3.仮想ボリュームでシン機能が無効になっている場合は、有効にします。

4.ESXi serverのストレージをスキャンします。これは、コマンドラインとvCenterの両方で実行できます。

6.ボリュームにパーティションまたはデータストアを作成する前に、ESXiはそのボリュームのシン プロビジョニング ステータスを取得できないため、この機能がサポートされていないことが引き続き報告されます。

7.ボリュームにデータストアを作成するか、ボリュームのパーティション テーブルを手動で作成すると、シン プロビジョニングのステータスは「はい」に変わり、割り当て解除は「サポート対象」に変わります。

8.上記の手順を実行した後も、ESXiがマッピング解除ステータスを更新できない場合は、VMware KBAを確認し、ESXi側から調査してください。
