Symptoms

Data Domain Restorer （DDR） 會將備份資料保存在 Data Domain 檔案系統 （DDFS） 內的檔案中。檔案可能會因以下原因而被刪除：
  • 使用者錯誤
  • 備份應用程式中的缺陷
  • 備份應用程式中的設定不正確
  • 心懷不滿的員工、網路攻擊、在網路中傳播的勒索軟體等
您可以建立 Data Domain 檔案系統內容的時間點快照。請注意：
  • 在 Data Domain 作業系統 （DDOS） 的 4.x 版中，快照包含建立快照時整個 Data Domain 檔案系統的內容
  • 在 DDOS 5.x 版及更新版本中，快照包含建立快照時 Data Domain 檔案系統中單一 MTree 的內容
如果意外刪除檔，可以從某個時間點恢復數據（假設存在包含已刪除數據副本的快照）。

Cause

從現有的 MTree 快照還原已刪除的檔案。

Resolution

應採取以下步驟從時間快照中恢復意外刪除的數據：
  1. 判斷系統上是否存在任何快照，以及建立每個快照的時間點：
# snapshot list mtree [mtree name]
若要讓快照包含已刪除資料的副本，它必須為：
  • 在資料寫入 DDR 的時間點之後建立
  • 在資料被意外刪除的時間點之前建立
  • 針對意外刪除資料的 MTree 建立

  1. 使用 filesys fastcopy 命令，以從時間快照中檢索已刪除的檔。每個快照在對應 MTree 路徑根目錄正下方的 （隱藏的） 「.snapshot/」目錄下，都有一個子目錄名稱。也就是說，對於名為「MTREE」的 MTree 和名為「SNAPSHOT」的快照，路徑會是「/data/col1/MTREE/.snapshot/SNAPSHOT/」：
# filesys fastcopy [update] source [file/directory in snapshot] destination [destination file/directory]
例如，假設使用者意外刪除了以下檔：/data/col1/backup/testfolder/test1.txt
他們判斷在備份 MTree 下有一個快照，根據建立快照的時間，該快照會保存test1.txt的副本，快照名為「snap1」。

下列命令將用於還原檔案： 
# filesys fastcopy source /data/col1/backup/.snapshot/snap1/testfolder/test1.txt destination /data/col1/backup/testfolder/test1.txt
擷取的檔案不必複製回其原始 MTree。因此，使用者可能會決定將test1.txt還原至 /data/col1/new mtree： 
# filesys fastcopy source /data/col1/backup/.snapshot/snap1/testfolder/test1.txt destination /data/col1/new/test1.txt
此外，還可以在單個命令中從快照恢復整個目錄。在這種情況下，將從快照中擷取整個 /data/col1/backup/testfolder 目錄： 
# filesys fastcopy source /data/col1/backup/.snapshot/snap1/testfolder destination /data/col1/backup/testfolder
這會覆寫 /data/col1/backup/testfolder 的現有內容，因此此目錄的現有內容會遺失 （如果目的地目錄存在，則會使用快照目錄的內容覆寫）
