Op Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 moet worden geïnstalleerd en moeten de volgende Microsoft KB's worden geïnstalleerd ter ondersteuning van de PowerPath 6.1 (en hoger) SHA-2-drivers.

Volgens de releaseopmerkingen van PowerPath 6.1 voor Windows, voert u NO_KBCHECK=1 uit tijdens de cli-installatie om de verificatie van de geïnstalleerde KB's in Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1-hosts te voorkomen.
De waarde 1 negeert de controle van SHA-2 KB's in Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1-hosts.
Ook voor PowerPath 6.3/6.4/6.5 is MS 2999226 of 3118401 vereist
: Hier volgt de opdracht:<PowerPath Installation .exe bestandsnaam> /v"/L*v C:\logs\PPsetup.log NO_KBCHECK=1 NO_REBOOT=1"
In het bovenstaande voorbeeld moet de map c:\logs aanwezig zijn voordat de opdracht wordt uitgevoerd, anders krijgt u te maken met "Error opening the installation log".
Opnieuw opstarten is vereist.
Notitie: Voor upgrades zijn dezelfde opdrachtregelopties vereist.
