Kontroller, om der er problemer med
netværksinterfacet (NIC):En anden komponent til at kontrollere, om nodes message buffer (dmesg) for de seneste NIC-problemer på den berørte node. I nedenstående eksempel skifter NIC mellem at være op og ned status.

Hvis der er en NIC-advarsel i dmesg, skal den muligvis udskiftes.

  • Hvis ECS Gen 1 eller Gen 2 - Giv output til ECS support hardware ingeniør til analyse.
  • Hvis ECS Gen 3 – Levere output til Dells hardwareteam, som vil være ekspert i EX-seriens hardware.

Cause

Mulige årsager til dette problem:

  • Nogle gange sad SFP'en (lille formfaktor, som kan tilsluttes) ikke korrekt under installationen. 
  • Brugeradministrerede switche, der udføres med ændringer uden for vores kontrol. I tilfælde, hvor brugeradministrerede switche vedligeholdes, f.eks. firmwareopgraderinger, kan links gå ned og blive genforhandlet som vist i løsningen nedenfor.
  • Defekt hardware på ECS:
    • Netværksgrænsefladekort (NIC)
    • Netværkskabel 
    • SFP (lille formfaktor, som kan tilsluttes) 
    • Netværksswitch eller -switchport

VIGTIGT!  En ny funktion er blevet frigivet i xDoctor 4-8.104.0 og nyere. BEMÆRK: Hvis grænsefladen stadig er nede og ikke kan genforhandles, skal en Dell-repræsentant være på stedet for at inspicere SFP'en og kablet igen. Hvis dette ikke virker, anbefales det at udskifte SFP- og kabelforbindelsen fra kontakten til noden.

  • Kanin: 10 GbE offentlig switch er placeret under haren i toppen af racket i en U- eller D-serie eller under harekontakten i et segment i C-serien.
