Symptoms

Precision 7875 타워는 PXE 서버로 부팅할 수 없으며 OS(Operating System)로 부팅을 계속할 수 없습니다. 이 문제는 BIOS 설정을 다음과 같이 지정할 때 발생합니다.

  • WOL(Wake On LAN)이 "LAN with PXE Boot"로 설정됨
  • Deep Sleep이 "비활성화"로 설정되어 Realtek 1G NIC 카드가 S5 절전(종료)에서 깨어납니다.

Cause

Precision 7875 타워에서 PCIe 엔드포인트 LAN 디바이스 PME(Power Management Event) 상태를 찾을 수 없습니다. 이로 인해 WOL이 설정된 경우 컴퓨터를 PXE로 부팅할 수 없습니다.

Resolution

PXE 부팅 설정

이 동작을 해결하려면 BIOS에서 다음 설정을 수동으로 변경합니다.

  • "Deep Sleep"을 "Enable S4/S5"로 설정합니다(기본값).
  • PXE 부팅을 위해 "Boot Sequence"를 "Onboard Realtek 1G LOM" 또는 "NIC X710 DA2" 카드로 설정합니다.
