PowerPath Management Appliance: Errore: Impossibile aggiungere l'host

PPMA riporta un messaggio di errore:"Error: Unable to add Host" when trying to add a Windows host running PowerPath 6.4 or above.
Cause
PowerPath per Windows v6.4 richiede l'installazione manuale dei file binari OpenSSL, in quanto il pacchetto PowerPath non fornisce file binari OpenSSL.
Di seguito è riportato l'errore visualizzato nei registri eventi delle applicazioni dell host PowerPath/Windows: EmcPowerPathManagementComponent EMC PowerPath Error: EMC PowerPath Remote Management component: Error: OpenSSL binaries are missing in windows\system32 directory and hence EMC PowerPath Remote Management Component service won't be started.
Resolution
Installare OpenSSL sull host Windows, la cui versione dipende dalla versione di PowerPath. Consultare la Guida all'installazione e all'amministrazione di PowerPath per la versione richiesta di OpenSSL.
Di seguito è riportata la raccomandazione menzionata nella Guida all'installazione e all'amministrazione per PowerPath 6.4:
A partire dalla versione 6.4 di PowerPath for Windows, Open SSL 1.0.x deve essere installato manualmente nella directory di sistema predefinita di Windows (C:\Windows \System32) per il funzionamento della gestione remota. Per avviare il servizio componenti EMC PowerPath Remote Management è necessario Open SSL. Se Open SSL viene installato dopo l'installazione di PowerPath, avviare manualmente il servizio del componente EMC PowerPath Remote Management.
