Backup with exception:
Search plugin was unsuccessful. This VM contains XX partitions. This exceeds the maximum number of 15 partitions that can be processed during the backup workflow. Offline-indexing process handles metadata extraction and indexing of this VM.

Cause
This exception is expected and valid when VMs have partitions of more than 15, then it is offline-indexed.
The allocated to extract all the metadata from that VM is 15 minutes. If there are more partitions, it takes more time so it cannot be done in that 15 minutes. So offline indexing handles it after backup. Offline indexing runs every night at 12:00 AM.
For partitions, in simple disk configuration, partitions are part of the disk like /dev/sda1, /dev/sda2. If LVM Partitions are the Logical Volumes created in a volume group, these are /dev/mapper.

Can do lvdisplay to get the list of all the logical volumes. These are partitions if it is LVM configuration.
To confirm if indexing happened on that VM, create some new files and check if file search works after backups/offline-indexing.
