VxRail: GPU Support on VxRail
Summary: GPU Support on VxRail
Instructions
VxRail provides support for NVIDIA GPU for use with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and workload intensive compute.
The Dell Support process is as follows:
- Dell Support is responsible for troubleshooting NVIDIA hardware issues or concerns. This includes providing replacement parts as necessary.
- Dell Support should provide best effort support for NVIDIA GRID issues. NVIDIA GRID drivers and firmware can only be obtained through the NVIDIA website. Dell is not authorized to access and publish NVIDIA GRID drivers as such; they are not in the VxRail Life-Cycle Management (LCM).
- As stated above, to engage NVIDIA support customers must log in with their NVIDIA portal credentials and create a support ticket, later engaging with VxRail Support collaboratively to diagnose the fault and work toward a resolution.
NVIDIA Support Portal
The NVIDIA Support Portal provides customers with the necessary drivers, firmware, and licensing purchased for GPU products. If GPU VIBS and or technical support is required from NVIDIA, the customer must access the NVIDIA Support Portal and create a support ticket. Customers are to add the Dell Support email address to the NVIDIA support ticket for collaboration.
The NVIDIA Customer Support portal can be found at NVIDIA Virtual GPU Support Services
If needed, support should engage VMware by Broadcom and coordinate communication with NVIDIA where configuration assistance is required.
