Symptoms

Viene segnalato un errore quando si tenta di modificare le impostazioni della Remote Management Console (RMC) su un nodo Avamar Gen4T:

ipmitool lan set 4 defgw ipaddr 10.0.0.1
Setting LAN Default Gateway IP to 10.0.0.1
LAN Parameter Data does not match!  Write may have failed.

Cause

La porta RMC non è abilitata sul nodo Avamar Gen4T.

Ciò può essere confermato eseguendo il seguente comando come root:

Attenzione: Accertarsi che la sintassi del comando sia immessa esattamente come mostrato di seguito:
  
ipmitool raw 0x30 0xf9
00 00 00

Tutti zeri indicano che la porta RMC non è abilitata.
