Symptoms

Viene generato il seguente evento relativo alla garbage collection non riuscita e visualizzato nell'interfaccia utente:

Symptom: 4202, Desc: failed garbage collection with error MSG_ERR_GARBAGECOLLECT
 

Il messaggio può essere visualizzato anche quando si tenta di avviare GC:

avmaint garbagecollect --ava
ERROR: avmaint: garbagecollect: server_exception(MSG_ERR_INPROGRESS)

Cause

È stato effettuato un tentativo di eseguire manualmente la garbage collection (GC), ma i processi di garbage collection erano già in esecuzione.

Resolution

Non tentare di eseguire GC manualmente mentre è già in esecuzione. 

Se viene visualizzato l'errore e GC non è stato eseguito manualmente, contattare il supporto tecnico Dell Technologies per correggere ulteriormente l'errore.
