PowerEdge: Broadcom NIC Firmware Upgrade Fails with libpci.so Error When Run from DRM Smart Bootable ISO Image

Symptoms
The following error may be seen during upgrades of Broadcom Network Interface Adapter (NIC) firmware when booting a Smart Bootable ISO image created with Dell Repository Manager (DRM) 3.x:
./bnxt_dup: error while loading shared libraries: libpci.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directoryOther upgrades proceed, only the Broadcom devices do not upgrade successfully.
Cause
This issue started occurring with Dell Bootable ISO Plug-in version 952. The bootable image that it created did not contain a dependent libpci library which is required by the Dell Update Package (DUP) for Broadcom firmware versions.
Resolution
With the Application Preferences of Dell Repository Manager, upgrade the Dell Bootable ISO Plug-in to version 953 then Export a new custom ISO image containing the required repository items.
