Symptoms

  • PowerFlexのインフライト チェックサム機能が有効になっています。
  • Microsoft SQL 2019のバックアップが次のエラーで失敗します。 
    The log scan number (0:-1218248704:37) passed to log scan in database 'TEST_VOL' is not valid. This error may indicate data corruption or that the log file (.ldf) does not match the data file (.mdf). If this error occurred during replication, re-create the publication. Otherwise, restore from backup if the problem results in a failure during startup."
  • PowerFlexトレース(MDM、SDS、SDC)には、問題の兆候はありません。

Cause

SDCコンポーネントのソフトウェア コードの問題(特に未了(in-flight)チェックサム機能)

未了(in-flight)チェックサムが有効になっている場合、Windows SDCはチェックサムの計算中にFPUの状態を変更し、リストアしないため、FPU命令の他のユーザー(この場合はMSSQLアプリケーション)が予期しない結果を受け取ることになります。

 

Resolution

回避策として、未了(in-flight)チェックサムを無効にする必要があります。

回避策が実行できない場合は、以下の「修正されたバージョン」セクションに記載されている修正済みバージョンにアップグレードします。この修正には、チェックサムを計算する前にFPUの状態を保存し、計算の完了後にリストアするチェックサム計算フローが含まれています。
