Symptoms

When using the ddbmoim command to perform restore validate, the restore fails with the following error:

  • RMAN-03002: failure of restore command -- Error: The RMAN process failed.
Performing Oracle Incremental Merge operation.
Building the Local repository on host path /opt/oracle/home/2720304786
Starting BoostFS mount operation.
BoostFS mount operation completed successfully.

Cause

Issue related to earlier versions of RMAN Agent (<19.15).

Resolution

Apply RMAN Agent version 19.15.0.99.Build.99 or later release.
