VxRail: Node Health-check Fails for Test idc_as

Summary: VxVerify test 'idc_as' (iDRAC Admin State) checks the iDRAC Admin-State and Pass-Trough mode.

Symptoms

VxVerify test 'idc_as' (iDRAC Admin State), queries the iDRAC Admin-State and Pass Through (PT) mode. This checks that they return 'Enabled' and 'usb-p2p', respectively.

The results of this health-check are one of the following results:

Cause

iDRAC tests only apply to Dell nodes and are bypassed for Quanta.
This test queries the iDRAC Admin-State and PT-mode, which should return 'Enabled' and 'usb-p2p', respectively.

 

Resolution

These settings can be corrected in the iDRAC user interface, to match the following:
iDRAC Settings

Check the minion logs and VxTii report for more information about the information returned from iDRAC. These can typically be found in the vxv log folder, such as /tmp/vxv.
