일부 운영 체제는 iDRAC에 운영 체제 정보를 제공하지 않습니다. 다음 문서에서는 이 문제에 대해 자세히 설명합니다. Dell PowerEdge: iDRAC에 ESXi 6.5/6.7 시스템 호스트 이름 및 운영 체제가 올바르게 표시되지 않습니다. 

iDRAC 디스플레이에 호스트 이름 또는 버전과 같은 운영 체제 세부 정보가 없는 경우 디스플레이를 정확하게 채우는 옵션이 있습니다.
 

자동

Dell EMC iSM(iDRAC Service Module)을 설치하면 iDRAC에 표시된 시스템 호스트 이름이 자동으로 채워지거나 업데이트됩니다.


수동(Manual)

또는 RACADM을 사용하여 운영 체제 호스트 이름 및 운영 체제 이름을 수동으로 구성할 수 있습니다.
  
racadm set System.ServerOS.HostName server1.domain.local
racadm set System.ServerOS.OSName "ESXi 6.7 U3"
 
페이지를 새로 고친 후 업데이트된 운영 체제 정보가 iDRAC 웹 사용자 인터페이스에 표시됩니다. CMC에서 호스트 이름과 운영 체제 이름을 새로 고치려면 iDRAC를 재설정해야 합니다.

다음 IPMI 원시 명령을 사용할 수도 있습니다. 
raw 0x06 0x58 0x02 0x00 0x05 0x04 0x4c 0x4d 0x4e 0x4f

Byte 0 : 0x06 Network Function
Byte 1 : 0x58 Command
Byte 2 : 0x02 Parameter Selector (distinguish between set Firmware Version, OS Name, System Name etc.)
Byte 3 : 0x00 Set Selector (this equals 0 implies that the user is setting the parameter)
Byte 4 : 0x05 Check String data
Byte 5 : 0x04  --> data length
Byte 6…n : data bytes

사용법:

예를 들어 호스트 이름을 "DELL"로 설정하려면 다음을 따릅니다.

raw 0x06 0x58 0x02 0x00 0x05 -- This part is common
0x04 -- hostname string length- four characters(DELL) in our example
0x44 0x45 0x4c 0x4c -- ASCII equivalent for DELL. 
It is advised to use a ASCII to Hex convertor with the prefix 0x to easily translate the characters.
