Dell BSAFE 產品團隊宣佈 Dell BSAFE Crypto-J 7.0 正式發佈並正式上市。此版本整合了 Java 7.0 適用的 Dell BSAFE 加密模組 做為其基礎 FIPS 140 提供者，並已提交進行 FIPS 140-3 驗證。

BSAFE Crypto-J 7.0 是包含下列變更和新功能的主要版本：
  • 更新演算法支援
    • 新增 DH 網域參數的安全主要支援。
    • 新增對 RFC 6979 指定的確定性 DSA 和 ECDSA 支援。
    • CTS 的CBC_CS1、CBC_CS2或CBC_CS3模式的 AES 現在允許FIPS140模式。
    • 新增對符合 FIPS 140-3 規範的 PBKDF2 的支援。
    • 將最大 DH 金鑰大小 （以位為單位） 從 4096 更新為 8192。
    • 刪除了對專有 JSAFE API 和其他以前已棄用 API 的支援。
    • 移除對 MultiPrime RSA 的支援。
  • 已移除使用 BSAFE Crypto-C Micro Edition 的原生支援。
