Dell BSAFE 產品團隊宣佈 Dell BSAFE SSL-J 6.5 正式發佈並正式上市。此版本整合 了 Dell BSAFE Crypto-J 6.2.6，以及 Crypto-J JSAFE 和 JCE 軟體模組 6.2.5 ，做為其基礎 FIPS 140-2 提供者。

此版本解決了兩個安全問題。請參閱 DSA-2022-188 和 DSA-2022-208 以了解詳細說明。
此版本還包含以下更改：
  • 增加了對 X509ExtendedKeyManager 的支援，提供對 新方法 chooseEngineClientAlias（） 和 chooseEngineServerAlias（） 的存取權限。
  • TLS 1.0 和 1.1 現在預設為停用。
  • 從預設密碼套件清單中刪除的弱密碼套件。
  • 現在新增了對以下 JDK 屬性的支援：
    • jdk.tls.client.cipherSuites
    • jdk.tls.server.cipherSuites
    • jdk.tls.server.protocols
    • jdk.tls.client.protocols
