Symptoms

PowerProtect仮想マシン(VM)Direct Engineソリューションは、vSphere環境の保護に使用されます。PowerProtectインターフェイスは、Windows仮想マシン(VM)のファイル レベル リカバリー(FLR)を実行するために使用されます。同じVMへのFLRマウント操作が失敗し、SCSI IDに対応する物理ドライブがSCSI IDにないことを示すARV0007が表示されます。PowerProtectインターフェイスの[Jobs]>[System Jobs>Job ID]のシステム ジョブの詳細には、次の情報が表示されます。
 

ARV0007: VM Direct engine is unable to restore the virtual machine 'my-vm-name' on vCenter 'my-vcenter.mydomain.com'.

Restore of this virtual machine to the destination vCenter was unsuccessful.

Review the error details and summary log in the Jobs window, or review the log files at /var/log/brs/vmdm for more detailed information to troubleshoot the issue.

Unable to mount disks. Could not mount VMDKs onto VM 'my-vm-name' (vm-3901) filesystems. Unable to perform FLR Agent operation 'mount' on VM my-vm-name (vm-3901). SCSI ID 0/0/1/0 does not have a corresponding PhysicalDrive.

Cause

Resolution

Windowsダイナミック ディスクを使用する仮想マシンのファイルレベルのリストアは、次の制限付きでサポートされます。
  • リストアは、元とは異なる仮想マシンにリカバリする場合にのみ実行できます。また、この仮想マシンを元の仮想マシンのクローンにすることもできません。
  • 仮想マシンの管理者ユーザーでリストアを実行します。
  • 同じテンプレートからクローニングまたはデプロイして作成されたWindows仮想マシンの場合、これらすべてのWindows仮想マシンは、動的ボリュームで同じGUIDを使用することになります。
