Symptoms

PowerProtect Data Manager Virtual Machine (VM) Direct Engine -ratkaisua käytetään vSphere-ympäristön suojaamiseen. PowerProtect Interface Infrastructure Protection Engine -sivulla näkyy my-vproxy.my-domain.com VM Direct Enginen virhetila.

Cause

VM Direct Engine siirrettiin uuteen ESXi-klusteriin, jota hallinnoidaan toisessa vCenter-palvelimessa. Varmenne sisältää viittauksia vCenter-käyttöönottopalvelimeen, joka ei olisi voimassa uudessa vCenter-palvelimessa.

Resolution

Poista nykyinen VM Direct Engine ja ota se käyttöön uudessa ESX\vCenter-ympäristössä.

  • Avaa PowerProtect Data Manager -käyttöliittymä.
  • Siirry kohtaan Infrastructure  > Asset Sources ja lisää uusi vCenter-palvelin PowerProtect-kokoonpanoon.
  • Siirry kohtaan Infrastructure  >Protection Engines ja tallenna haavoittuvuuden sisältävän vPrxen asianmukaiset verkkotiedot (IP-osoite, DNS, yhdyskäytävä).  
  • Poista VM Direct Engine, jota ongelma koskee, määrityksestä.
  • Lisää uusi VM Direct Engine ja tarvittavat verkkotiedot ja valitse uudet vSphere-kohderesurssit.
  • Uudessa VM Direct Enginessä on uusi varmenne, joka sisältää asianmukaiset vCenter-palvelimen tiedot.
