Symptoms

La soluzione PowerProtect Transparent Snapshot Data Mover (TSDM) viene utilizzata per proteggere l'ambiente vSphere. Protection of this virtual machine by the VM Direct engine cannot be completed because the backup was unsuccessful.

Review the error details and summary log in the Jobs window, or review the log files at /var/log/brs/vmdm for more detailed information to troubleshoot the issue.

Cause

Anche la VM interessata stava eseguendo un'operazione PowerProtect File Level Recover (FLR) quando è stato avviato il backup manuale. Per impostazione predefinita, FLR crea un disco rigido indipendente per l'operazione di montaggio che viene reso disponibile per eseguire il ripristino. Il FLR rimuove il disco rigido indipendente al termine del ripristino.

Resolution

Assicurarsi che le operazioni di PowerProtect File Level Recover (FLR) non siano in esecuzione durante le finestre di backup pianificate o durante l'esecuzione di backup manuali.
