Symptoms
Il DUP del sistema operativo iSM 5.1.0 indica che un'installazione o gli upgrade da una versione iSM precedente sono stati completati correttamente, ma la versione 5.1.0 non è installata. Pertanto, gli strumenti del catalogo Dell come OpenManage Enterprise (OME) e Windows Admin Center (WAC) indicano sempre che l'host non è conforme e continuano a offrire l'upgrade di iSM.
Cause
L'errore è nel codice di installazione del DUP stesso, con una dipendenza non presente se Windows è installato in modalità Server Core senza interfaccia utente desktop interattiva.
Resolution
Il formato del pacchetto MSI del programma di installazione di iSM può essere installato manualmente o aggiornato senza problemi.
Dell Engineering ha inoltre rilasciato la revisione DUP A01 del sistema operativo iSM 5.1.0 (nome del file: Systems-Management_Application_GCXFN_WN64_5.1.0.0_A01.EXE) che risolve il problema.
Se si utilizzano strumenti Catalog come OME o WAC, assicurarsi di eseguire prima la sincronizzazione con Catalog 23.04.14 rilasciato il 14 aprile 2023 prima di tentare un nuovo report di conformità.
