Symptoms

Zařízení PowerProtect Data Manager slouží k ochraně prostředí vSphere. Nakonfigurované heslo uživatelského účtu vCenter bylo změněno a bylo aktualizováno v konfiguraci PowerProtect Data Manager v části Přihlašovací údaje > pro správu > VCENTER. Zjišťování prostředků vCenter nyní selže se stavem ukončení ADS0001:

Failed
ADS0001: Virtual machine asset discovery on the vCenter my-vcenter.my-domain.com was unsuccessful.

Virtual machine asset discovery cannot be completed because of unrecoverable error conditions.

Check the connection between PowerProtect Data Manager and vCenter. Verify that the provided credentials are valid. Start a manual discovery to discover all virtual machine assets, or wait for PowerProtect Data Manager to perform the next scheduled discovery. If the issue persists, contact Dell Customer Support.

Cause

Službě VMDM (PowerProtect Virtual Machine Data Mover) se nepodařilo aktualizovat autorizační token JSON Web Token (JWT), ale hlavní příčina je neznámá.

Resolution

Alternativní řešení:
Zprávy tokenu JWT se už po restartování služby vmdm nevygenerovaly a umožnily dokončení zjišťování. Restartujte daemona vmdm na zařízení PowerProtect Data Manager, když nejsou spuštěny žádné úlohy ochrany VMware.
