Symptoms

Zařízení PowerProtect Data Manager slouží k ochraně prostředí vSphere. Zásady ochrany s podporou aplikací VMware se konfigurují tak, aby chránily virtuální počítač (VM) Microsoft SQL Server. Úloha konfigurace systému virtuálního počítače Microsoft SQL Server selže a zobrazí se stav ukončení ABV0025 indikující, že se nepodařilo zaregistrovat službu PowerProtect Agent.

ABV0025: VM Direct engine is unable to configure protection for the virtual machine 'my-sql-server.my-domain.com' on vCenter 'my-vcenter.my-domain.com'.

The VM Direct engine cannot complete protection of this virtual machine because the protection configuration was unsuccessful.

 Review the error details and summary log in the Jobs window, or export the job logs and review the log files for more information. If the issue persists, contact Dell Customer Support.

Cause

Existuje korupce v agents.clb bezpečnostní modul, který brání službě MSAPPAGENT v aktualizaci souborů certifikátů.

Resolution

Odstraňte stávající agents.clb bezpečnostní modul, takže se na Microsoft SQL Server znovu vytvoří nový bezpečnostní modul.

  1. Zastavte službu PowerProtect Agent v nabídce services.msc nebo příkazový řádek:
net stop agentservice
  1. Přesuňte obsah složky C:\Program Files\DPSAPPS\common\lockbox do jiného adresáře.
  2. Spusťte službu PowerProtect Agent z nabídky services.msc nebo příkazový řádek:
net start agentservice
