Symptoms

PowerProtect Data Manager Appliance -laitteella suojataan vSphere-ympäristö. VMwaren sovelluskohtaista suojauskäytäntöä määritetään suojaamaan Microsoft SQL Server -virtuaalikonetta (VM). Microsoft SQL Server -virtuaalikoneen järjestelmämääritystyö epäonnistuu ja tila poistuu ABV0025, mikä tarkoittaa, että PowerProtect Agent -palvelua ei voitu rekisteröidä.

ABV0025: VM Direct engine is unable to configure protection for the virtual machine 'my-sql-server.my-domain.com' on vCenter 'my-vcenter.my-domain.com'.

The VM Direct engine cannot complete protection of this virtual machine because the protection configuration was unsuccessful.

 Review the error details and summary log in the Jobs window, or export the job logs and review the log files for more information. If the issue persists, contact Dell Customer Support.

Cause

Korruptio agents.clb lockbox, joka estää MSAPPAGENT-palvelua päivittämästä varmennetiedostoja.

Resolution

Poista nykyinen agents.clb lockbox, joten uusi lockbox luodaan uudelleen Microsoft SQL Serveriin.

  1. Pysäytä PowerProtect Agent -palvelu services.msc tai komentokehote:
net stop agentservice
  1. Siirrä C:\Program Files\DPSAPPS\common\lockboxin sisältö toiseen hakemistoon.
  2. Käynnistä PowerProtect Agent -palvelu services.msc tai komentokehote:
net start agentservice
