Symptoms

PowerProtect Data Manager-apparatet brukes til å beskytte vSphere-miljøet. En applikasjonsbevisst VMware-beskyttelsespolicy konfigureres for å beskytte en virtuell Microsoft SQL Server-maskin (VM). Systemkonfigurasjonsjobben for Microsoft SQL Server VM mislykkes med avslutningsstatusen ABV0025 som angir at den ikke kunne registrere PowerProtect Agent Service.

ABV0025: VM Direct engine is unable to configure protection for the virtual machine 'my-sql-server.my-domain.com' on vCenter 'my-vcenter.my-domain.com'.

The VM Direct engine cannot complete protection of this virtual machine because the protection configuration was unsuccessful.

 Review the error details and summary log in the Jobs window, or export the job logs and review the log files for more information. If the issue persists, contact Dell Customer Support.

Cause

Det er korrupsjon i agents.clb låseboks som hindrer MSAPPAGENT-tjenesten i å oppdatere sertifikatfilene.

Resolution

Fjern det eksisterende agents.clb lockbox, slik at en ny låseboks opprettes på nytt på Microsoft SQL Server.

  1. Stopp PowerProtect Agent-tjenesten fra services.msc eller ledetekst:
net stop agentservice
  1. Flytt innholdet i boksen C:\Program Files\DPSAPPS\common\lockbox til en annen katalog.
  2. Start PowerProtect Agent-tjenesten fra services.msc eller ledetekst:
net start agentservice
