Symptoms

Устройство PowerProtect Data Manager используется для защиты среды vSphere. Для защиты виртуальной машины (ВМ) Microsoft SQL Server настраивается политика защиты с учетом приложений VMware. Задание конфигурации системы виртуальной машины Microsoft SQL Server завершается сбоем с состоянием выхода ABV0025 указывающим на то, что не удалось зарегистрировать службу агента PowerProtect.

ABV0025: VM Direct engine is unable to configure protection for the virtual machine 'my-sql-server.my-domain.com' on vCenter 'my-vcenter.my-domain.com'.

The VM Direct engine cannot complete protection of this virtual machine because the protection configuration was unsuccessful.

 Review the error details and summary log in the Jobs window, or export the job logs and review the log files for more information. If the issue persists, contact Dell Customer Support.

Служба PowerProtect Agent Service (MSAPPAGENT) была переведена в режим отладки путем создания .ddbmcon.debug в каталоге C:\Program Files\DPSAPPS\MSAPPAGENT\tmp\ на сервере Microsoft SQL Server. Выходные файлы отладки ddbmcon.*.log в папке C:\Program Files\DPSAPPS\MSAPPAGENT\logs\ показывают:

Cause

Имеет место коррупция в agents.clb защищенное хранилище, которое не позволяет службе MSAPPAGENT обновлять файлы сертификатов.

Resolution

Удалить существующий agents.clb lockbox, поэтому новое защищенное хранилище создается заново на сервере Microsoft SQL Server.

  1. Остановите службу агента PowerProtect в меню services.msc или командная строка:
net stop agentservice
  1. Переместите содержимое C:\Program Files\DPSAPPS\common\lockbox в другой каталог.
  2. Запустите службу агента PowerProtect со страницы services.msc или командная строка:
net start agentservice
