Symptoms

PowerProtect Data Manager Appliance används för att skydda vSphere-miljön. En programmedveten VMware-skyddsprincip konfigureras för att skydda en virtuell Microsoft SQL Server-dator (VM). Systemkonfigurationsjobbet för den virtuella Microsoft SQL Server misslyckas med avslutningsstatus ABV0025 vilket indikerar att det inte gick att registrera PowerProtect-agenttjänsten.

ABV0025: VM Direct engine is unable to configure protection for the virtual machine 'my-sql-server.my-domain.com' on vCenter 'my-vcenter.my-domain.com'.

The VM Direct engine cannot complete protection of this virtual machine because the protection configuration was unsuccessful.

 Review the error details and summary log in the Jobs window, or export the job logs and review the log files for more information. If the issue persists, contact Dell Customer Support.

Cause

Det finns en korruption i agents.clb lockbox som hindrar MSAPPAGENT-tjänsten från att uppdatera certifikatfilerna.

Resolution

  1. Stoppa PowerProtect-agenttjänsten från services.msc eller kommandotolken:

  2. Starta PowerProtect-agenttjänsten från services.msc eller kommandotolken:
