Symptoms

Пристрій PowerProtect Data Manager використовується для захисту середовища vSphere. Для захисту віртуальної машини Microsoft SQL Server (VM) налаштовується політика захисту, орієнтована на застосунки VMware. Завдання конфігурації системи віртуальної машини Microsoft SQL Server не спрацювало зі статусом виходу, ABV0025 свідчить про неможливість зареєструвати сервіс агента PowerProtect.

ABV0025: VM Direct engine is unable to configure protection for the virtual machine 'my-sql-server.my-domain.com' on vCenter 'my-vcenter.my-domain.com'.

The VM Direct engine cannot complete protection of this virtual machine because the protection configuration was unsuccessful.

 Review the error details and summary log in the Jobs window, or export the job logs and review the log files for more information. If the issue persists, contact Dell Customer Support.

Сервіс PowerProtect Agent Service (MSAPPAGENT) був поставлений у debug шляхом створення .ddbmcon.debug у каталозі C:\Program Files\DPSAPPS\MSAPPAGENT\tmp\ на Microsoft SQL Server. Вихідні файли ddbmcon.*.log у C :\Program Files\DPSAPPS\MSAPPAGENT\ logs\ показують:

Cause

Існує корупція в agents.clb що забороняє сервісу MSAPPAGENT оновлювати файли сертифікатів.

Resolution

Видалити існуючі agents.clb lockbox, тобто новий lockbox створюється на Microsoft SQL Server.

  1. Зупинити службу агентів PowerProtect від services.msc або командний рядок:
net stop agentservice
  1. Перенесіть вміст C:\Program Files\DPSAPPS\common\lockbox в інший каталог.
  2. Запустіть сервіс агентів PowerProtect з services.msc або командний рядок:
net start agentservice
