PowerProtect Backup Services: VM Backup Set changes are not retained

Symptoms
In the PowerProtect Backup Services UI, the retention time for some VM Backup Sets was changed. After this change, the retention reverted back to the pervious setting the next day. 
Cause
The product is working as designed.
Resolution
In one instance, it was due to the CloudCache setting in Auto Configuration Rules under the VMware workload.
The change is permanent once the CloudCache retention is adjusted.
