PowerProtect：検索ノードまたはレポート ノードを新しいvCenterに移動する方法

Instructions

PowerProtect Data Manager Elastic Searchデータベースには、最初に導入されたvCenterのメタデータが含まれており、新しいvCenterに移動したときに更新する必要があります。Elastic Search データベース インデックス (index_vmdirect_infrastructure_node)をinfranodemgmt コマンドライン ユーティリティーで更新して、新しいvCenter Serverを反映させる必要があります。

  1. 新しいvCenter資産ソースをPowerProtect Data Managerの Infrastructure >Asset Sourcesに追加する必要があります。
  2. SSH経由でPowerProtect Data Managerに接続し、管理者アカウントで認証します。
ssh admin@<my-ppdm.mydomain.com>
  1. 環境変数をシェルにロードします。 
source /opt/emc/vmdirect/unit/vmdirect.env
  1. 登録済みの検索およびレポート作成ノードのリストを取得します。 
/opt/emc/vmdirect/bin/infranodemgmt get
  1. 出力から、vCenterの更新が必要な検索ノードまたはレポート ノードの「ノードID」の値を取得します。
  2. 新しいvCenterで ノードID を変更します(ノードIDは一重引用符で囲みます)。 
/opt/emc/vmdirect/bin/infranodemgmt modify -node_id '<infranodemgmt-Node-ID>' -vcenter_hostname <my-vcenter.mydomain.com>
  1. 登録済みの検索ノードとレポート作成ノードのリストを取得して、更新を確認します。
/opt/emc/vmdirect/bin/infranodemgmt get
