ECS: AWS CLI mislukt met "Missing required header for this request: Content-MD5"

Symptoms

Met AWS CLI 2.23.0 en latere versies, bijvoorbeeld voor PutBucketLifecycleConfiguration of PutBucketReplication tegen een ECS resulteert in een fout zoals de volgende:

"An error occurred (InvalidRequest) when calling the PutBucketLifecycleConfiguration operation: Missing required header for this request: Content-MD5"

Cause

Een wijziging in AWS CLI 2.23.0 (en latere versies) gebruikt standaard een nieuw checksum-algoritme voor S3-bewerkingen. 
AWS CLI maakt nu gebruik van x-amz-sdk-checksum-algorithm: CRC64NVME

Resolution

Gebruik AWS CLI-versies ouder dan versie 2.23.0 of andere S3-clients. Ondersteuning voor ECS CRC64NVME wordt geleverd in een toekomstige release.
