Symptoms

Nach der erfolgreichen Registrierung eines Linux-AIX-Servers bei PowerProtect Data Manager schlägt der nachfolgende Ermittlungsjob möglicherweise mit dem folgenden Fehler fehl:

ASDS0009
An exception occurred while discovering Applications System for AddOn FILE_SYSTEM_CLUSTER on host <Linux\AIX Server>: 
Process /opt/dpsapps/fsagent/bin/ddfscon failed with error code 1

The Application System discovery was unsuccessful.
Recommended Action: 
Check the log files at INSTALL_DIR\DPSAPPS\AGENTSERVICE\logs.
Where INSTALL_DIR is the directory on the user machine where the agent service is installed.
If the issue persists, contact Dell Customer Support.

Im OpAgnetSVC*.log Auf dem Linux-AIX-Server werden die folgenden Fehler angezeigt:

Cause

Die IPv6 sind Einträge in der /etc/hosts Datei auf dem Linux-AIX-Server, die fehlt oder auskommentiert ist.

Das /etc/hosts sollte die Datei auf dem Linux-AIX-Server die folgenden Zeilen enthalten:

    127.0.0.1   localhost localhost.localdomain localhost4 localhost4.localdomain4
    ::1         localhost localhost.localdomain localhost6 localhost6.localdomain6

Resolution

Um das Problem zu beheben, fügen Sie entweder die fehlende Zeile hinzu oder heben Sie die Auskommentierung im /etc/hosts file und starten Sie den PowerProtect-Agent-Service neu.
