Symptoms

Kun Linux AIX -palvelin on rekisteröity PowerProtect Data Manageriin, seuraava etsintätyö saattaa epäonnistua ja näyttöön saattaa tulla seuraava virhe:

ASDS0009
An exception occurred while discovering Applications System for AddOn FILE_SYSTEM_CLUSTER on host <Linux\AIX Server>: 
Process /opt/dpsapps/fsagent/bin/ddfscon failed with error code 1

The Application System discovery was unsuccessful.
Recommended Action: 
Check the log files at INSTALL_DIR\DPSAPPS\AGENTSERVICE\logs.
Where INSTALL_DIR is the directory on the user machine where the agent service is installed.
If the issue persists, contact Dell Customer Support.

Cause

IPv6:t ovat merkintä /etc/hosts puuttuva tai kommentoitu Linux AIX -palvelimen tiedosto.

Sitä /etc/hosts Linux AIX -palvelimen tiedostossa pitäisi olla seuraavat rivit:

    127.0.0.1   localhost localhost.localdomain localhost4 localhost4.localdomain4
    ::1         localhost localhost.localdomain localhost6 localhost6.localdomain6

Resolution

Voit korjata ongelman joko lisäämällä puuttuvan rivin tai poistamalla kommentin /etc/hosts file ja käynnistä PowerProtect Agent Service uudelleen.
