Symptoms

Linux AIXサーバーをPowerProtect Data Managerに正常に登録した後、後続の検出ジョブが次のエラーで失敗することがあります。

ASDS0009
An exception occurred while discovering Applications System for AddOn FILE_SYSTEM_CLUSTER on host <Linux\AIX Server>: 
Process /opt/dpsapps/fsagent/bin/ddfscon failed with error code 1

The Application System discovery was unsuccessful.
Recommended Action: 
Check the log files at INSTALL_DIR\DPSAPPS\AGENTSERVICE\logs.
Where INSTALL_DIR is the directory on the user machine where the agent service is installed.
If the issue persists, contact Dell Customer Support.

Cause

IPv6は、 /etc/hosts ファイルが存在しないか、コメント アウトされているLinux AIXサーバーにあります。

ザ /etc/hosts Linux AIXサーバー上のファイルには、次の行が必要です。

    127.0.0.1   localhost localhost.localdomain localhost4 localhost4.localdomain4
    ::1         localhost localhost.localdomain localhost6 localhost6.localdomain6

Resolution

この問題に対処するには、欠落している行を追加するか、コメントを解除します。 /etc/hosts file PowerProtectエージェント サービスを再起動します。
