Symptoms

Nadat een Linux AIX-server is geregistreerd bij PowerProtect Data Manager, kan de daaropvolgende detectietaak mislukken met de volgende fout:

ASDS0009
An exception occurred while discovering Applications System for AddOn FILE_SYSTEM_CLUSTER on host <Linux\AIX Server>: 
Process /opt/dpsapps/fsagent/bin/ddfscon failed with error code 1

The Application System discovery was unsuccessful.
Recommended Action: 
Check the log files at INSTALL_DIR\DPSAPPS\AGENTSERVICE\logs.
Where INSTALL_DIR is the directory on the user machine where the agent service is installed.
If the issue persists, contact Dell Customer Support.

In het OpAgnetSVC*.log op de Linux AIX-server worden de volgende fouten weergegeven

Cause

De IPv6-kaart is opgenomen in de /etc/hosts Bestand op de Linux AIX-server dat ontbreekt of is becommentarieerd.

De /etc/hosts bestand op de Linux AIX-server moet de volgende regels bevatten:

    127.0.0.1   localhost localhost.localdomain localhost4 localhost4.localdomain4
    ::1         localhost localhost.localdomain localhost6 localhost6.localdomain6

Resolution

U kunt het probleem oplossen door de ontbrekende regel in de /etc/hosts file en start de PowerProtect Agent Service opnieuw.
