Symptoms

Når du har registrert en Linux AIX-server med PowerProtect Data Manager, kan den påfølgende oppdagingsjobben mislykkes med følgende feil:

ASDS0009
An exception occurred while discovering Applications System for AddOn FILE_SYSTEM_CLUSTER on host <Linux\AIX Server>: 
Process /opt/dpsapps/fsagent/bin/ddfscon failed with error code 1

The Application System discovery was unsuccessful.
Recommended Action: 
Check the log files at INSTALL_DIR\DPSAPPS\AGENTSERVICE\logs.
Where INSTALL_DIR is the directory on the user machine where the agent service is installed.
If the issue persists, contact Dell Customer Support.

Cause

IPv6 er oppføring i /etc/hosts på Linux AIX-serveren som mangler eller er kommentert.

Den /etc/hosts Filen på Linux AIX-serveren skal ha følgende linjer:

    127.0.0.1   localhost localhost.localdomain localhost4 localhost4.localdomain4
    ::1         localhost localhost.localdomain localhost6 localhost6.localdomain6

Resolution

For å løse problemet, kan du enten legge til eller oppheve kommentaren til den manglende linjen i /etc/hosts file og start PowerProtect Agent Service på nytt.
